MikroTik hotspot card and PayPal payments: let customers pay online anywhere
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Your customers already pay for everything else by card, PayPal or their local wallet. With RadiusNest they can pay for their hotspot or PPPoE package the same way: they tap Pay, pay on the provider's own secure page, and their login on your MikroTik is made or renewed by itself, the sale recorded and the receipt kept. The money goes straight to your own account.
How it works
- The customer chooses a package on your shop page or in your own Telegram bot, or taps Renew on the reminder the bot sends before their package runs out.
- They tap Pay. There is no number to type: they are taken to the payment page of your provider, such as Stripe or PayPal.
- They pay the way they like: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or a local option like UPI, Pix, GCash or OVO.
- The login is ready. RadiusNest asks your provider whether the payment went through, then makes or renews the login on your MikroTik and shows the customer "Paid".
The providers and where they work
- Stripe – cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, in most countries and many currencies.
- PayPal – PayPal balance and cards, in 24 currencies.
- Flutterwave – cards and mobile money across Africa.
- Xendit – cards, bank transfers and wallets like GCash, OVO and DANA in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
- Razorpay – UPI, cards and net banking in India.
- Mercado Pago – Pix, local cards and cash options in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
Customers in Kenya and 21 other African countries can also get a PIN request straight on their phone with M-Pesa or mobile money: see MikroTik hotspot M-Pesa payment. You can offer both side by side.
Setting it up
- Open an account with the provider you want, if you do not have one, and copy its API keys from the provider's dashboard.
- In RadiusNest open Shop, tap Add online payments and choose the provider. Each one shows what your customers can pay with, the countries it works in and the currency your shop needs.
- Paste the keys and tap Check the keys and add. RadiusNest tests them with the provider first, so a wrong key is caught right there.
- Where the provider asks for a webhook address, copy it from the same screen into the provider's dashboard.
That is all. The new way to pay appears on your shop page and in your Telegram bot straight away.
Why it is safe
- A login is only made or renewed once your provider confirms the payment. A message saying "paid" is never taken on its own word.
- Card details are typed only on the provider's own secure page, never on your shop or in the bot.
- The money goes straight to your own account. RadiusNest never touches it.
- If the customer cancels or does not pay within an hour, the order closes and the payment page is closed with it. If a payment still arrives late, it waits for you to approve instead of being lost.
- Your keys are stored hidden and are never shown again on any screen.
Questions
Can MikroTik hotspot customers pay by card?
Yes. Add Stripe, PayPal or one of the local providers to your shop. The customer picks a package, taps Pay, pays on the provider's secure page, and RadiusNest renews the login on your MikroTik by itself. Nothing extra runs on the router.
Do I need my own Stripe or PayPal account?
Yes. You connect your own account with its keys, so every payment goes straight to you. RadiusNest never holds your customers' money.
Which provider should I use?
Stripe or PayPal work in most countries. In Africa use Flutterwave, in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam or Malaysia use Xendit, in India use Razorpay for UPI, and in Latin America use Mercado Pago for Pix and local cards. For M-Pesa and mobile money PIN requests, see the M-Pesa guide.
What if the customer closes the payment page?
Nothing is charged and nothing changes. The order stays open for an hour so they can tap Pay again; after that it closes, and the payment page is closed with it.
Can customers type their card details on my page?
No, and that is on purpose. Card details are only ever typed on the provider's own secure page, never on your shop page, your Telegram bot or RadiusNest.
