Hotspot billing for Uganda and Tanzania: mobile money on your MikroTik

Last updated: 18 October 2026

With RadiusNest your hotspot and PPPoE customers in Uganda and Tanzania pay with the mobile money they already use. They approve the PIN prompt on their phone and their login on your MikroTik is renewed at once - in shillings, straight into your own account.

How your customers pay

  • Uganda - MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money.
  • Tanzania - Vodacom M-Pesa, Airtel Money and the other networks your pawaPay account covers.
  • Through your own pawaPay account, from the hotspot page or your Telegram bot. Cards through Flutterwave or Stripe if you want them too.

A payment only counts once the network confirms it.

Everything a MikroTik hotspot or PPPoE ISP needs

  • Customers pay by themselves - mobile money or card. The login is made or renewed the moment the payment is confirmed, and the money goes to your own account.
  • Hotspot and PPPoE in one dashboard - packages with speed, data and time limits, expiry, and users cut off automatically when they run out.
  • Vouchers - print voucher cards in batches for your shop or agents.
  • Your own Telegram bot - customers check their balance, renew and get answers in their own words, without calling you.
  • Resellers and staff - give each one their own login and see what each one sold.
  • Automatic router setup - RadiusNest finds the router's ports and internet connection and builds the hotspot and PPPoE server for you. Included in the free trial.
  • Remote management - open WebFig or Winbox from anywhere, with no public IP and no VPN on your side.
  • Live monitoring - CPU, traffic and who is online on every router, from your phone.
