FAQ
Quick answers to the common questions.
What RouterOS versions are supported?
RouterOS v6.43 and every v7.x release. The poller uses the file-based /tool fetch ... dst-path=... pattern, which runs unchanged on both branches.
What is the "managed users" limit?
It counts hotspot and PPPoE accounts this bot has created for your serial — not everything sitting on the router. Users you added manually don't count against the limit.
How is the poller hardware-locked?
Every request the poller makes includes your router serial. If the serial doesn't match what's registered for that chat ID, the server refuses to send any commands.
How do I know a payment was approved?
You'll get a Telegram message the moment an admin approves it, including the new expiry date. Use the Status checker above to confirm any time.
What if my router can't reach the polling URL?
The self-test on install will log a clear warning to /log print where message~"MikBot". Usually it's DNS or a firewall blocking outbound HTTPS — make sure the router can reach shagzaimikbot.com.
